I'm back blogging after so long. Been very busy and lazy and sick lately.

Anyway, life has been good for me so far. On 13th Aug, I headed to Mbs for Danielle's birthday celebration, followed by an invitation by Fiona to the skypark for some bikini show event.

When the clock strikes 12, it's Fiona's birthday.

On 14 Aug, checked in @MBS at 3pm with Birthday girl. Gold and white balloons are so pretty!

It fits the colour of the Suite so well.

Oh yea! Not to mention that the Suite is huge! I think it's bigger than the one I celebrated my 21st at The resort and spa hotel last year. Just that there's no private swimming pool over here.

Celebrated Simone's Birthday last Monday at MBS again. I guess MBS is everyone's wish to celebrate their birthday or special occasion there. Her actual birthday falls on 19th of July. She had a very very in advance celebration with the girls.

Went cycling last last weekend with Louis and Amelia. The weather was awesome, no sun and it's very windy.

We passed by this jetty. There's a lot of people. Some fishing, cycling, blading.

We spotted a few ice cream stalls and decided to stop by to grab a scoop. I don't fancy expensive ice cream, I love those traditional with many flavours. It sounds so old school but who cares? As long as it's nice will do!

Had an enjoyable cycling trip. We cabbed to marine parade hawker for dinner. Louis ordered so much food again and we can't finish it. After that, I took a bus home and prepared for the night activity. (:

Stayed in MBS two weeks back with Fiona, Angel and gg, Amelia, Sherlyn and Louis.

Fiona managed to book the room and we stayed for 2 nights :D

We stayed in a Suite. It's quite big but I can't recall which suite it's called.

Three of them damn smart and cute. They used my camera to snap a lot of pictures of them with bikini when I went down with Sherlyn to look for Staryl as she's working at Mbs too.

Pardon me for the poor quality photos from Iphone because my camera went out of batt and no one brought camera except Iphone.

After swimming, three of us soaked ourselves with bubbles and soap and warm water. Damn shiok!!

We headed to boat quay for dinner before heading to Butter for party in the night. The music was awesome but the crowd was down, down down.

On the 2nd night, the driver drove us to marina square for dinner. We had imperial treasure. I love the salted egg prawn!

We didn't take much photos on the 2nd night because iphone camera is quite sucky. We played truth or dare and drank beer and the 1982 wine. Haha.

The next day, woke up early for breakfast with Amelia at one of the cafe at level 57. The food was not awesome. I think I shall not comment on this.

Checked out and Fiona and Angel went to the airport for their Bkk trip. Glad that they had fun! (:

22ND Birthday Celebration

Had my first birthday celebration @Sarang with Steffi & Fangeng on the 1st of June. They brought me to this korean restaurant located at Orchard central.

When I enter the restaurant, they surprised me with a balloon hanging on the chair.

Yep and we ordered quite a number of food.

The strange thing about Sarang is that they don't serve those Korean starters like what other Korean cuisine does.

This noodle is nice! It's our appetizer.

Don't look at the appearance of this pork belly. It tasted very good.

Bibibap. Okay I don't know how to spell it.

Ginseng soup! Nice but the one in Seoul is nicer!

This is the balloon I was talking about. I had to walk around town in this. So throw face! That's what my friends love to do!

Sorry that I didn't provide more photos as the rest and the main ones are still with Steffi. Maybe I'll post it up when I've got it from her. I enjoyed my day and thanks a lot for the surprises and presents! :D

On my actual birthday, I met Sherlyn earlier to have brunch at Ikea. The food was awesome still, love the chicken wings! And guys, just to let you know, Ikea no longer provide take-away services.

Met the rest of them (Party clique) at Holland Village at 10! 10pm for a steamboat?! Yea that's because they were only left with 5pm and 10pm slots and my dear friends have to work.

3 prawns for each of us. They are madly fresh! Fresh from oven!

Initially, Sherlyn and I was quite full. But after eating, we got hungrier. Weird tummy we have!

BBQ SURPRISE AT FIONA'S

These darlings are very cheeky! They organized a surprise BBQ for me on 5th June. We were planning to go Fiona's place for Mahjong. Albert picked me up at Tiong Bahru and we waited very long for Fiona to come and fetch us. When walking back to her house, I was still excitedly thinking that we're gonna play MJ for real and didn't realize who's ahead of me.

When we were damn near the bbq pit, Fiona said 'Babe, today we're not gonna play MJ, we're going to celebration your birthday.' That's when I got blur and look ahead of me and saw the 2 Angels, Angel & Karen. They are so good at acting and lying to me! HAHAA.

Last week, Fiona and Amelia planned a trip to ice skating. Amelia and I met for lunch while waiting for Fiona to reach. She's awfully LATE! Haha but she's forgiven after the sweet talks.

Skating at Leisure park. There's hell lots of people and it cost us $17.50 per person for 2 hours.

Hong Kong Trip

This is the long awaited Hong Kong trip post! I went there just about one month ago on my bro's birthday. Went for a short five-days free & easy trip with my eldest brother and mum. Didn't take many photos, mainly are food, food and FOOD. So beware, if you're hungry, don't scroll down anymore!

LOVE my socks?? Fyi, it's cookie monster! I bought it from Japan.

We stayed at Express by holiday inn at Causeway bay. This is one of those few stalls that we went.
They served wanton mee.

Look at the picture above clearly. Did you see the aunty using the stick to close the door? I managed to capture a clearer one this time! It's so damn funny and unique way of closing door la! HAHAH. I guess the aunty is so damn lazy!

Qoo bottle so cute. The coca cola one cuter but didn't manage to snap it.

There are so many XU LIU SHAN in hk. Wherever I walk, I will definitely see this dessert stall. Even in the airport!

Had dinner at The Spaghetti House on the first day or 2nd day just beside our hotel. Because it was raining, we were so lazy to open umbrella, so we just settle at this restaurant. They served Awesome clam chowder soup! It's so much nicer than the one in Sg.

Dim sum at Central. In hk, nobody stand at the counter and serve you. Every single thing is self service. Find your own seats, share with strangers, get your own food, even anyhow put chopsticks and spoon on the dirty table. Very unhygienic! BUT, food was awesome!

Famous claypot rice can be found along Mongkok street. Those ladies street there. I tried something new which is frog leg claypot rice! And don't forget, their fish egg is a MUST-TRY. What makes it so nice is the CURRY sauce! If you don't already know, fish egg is fish cake.

These egg tarts can be purchased from Central. You have to walk up the hill, it's quite tiring but worth climbing. It's really nice, especially when it's all heated up.

We got 2 each. Look at the happy 'kids' ! HAHA

H&M! There are quite a few outlets in hk. They are just like forever 21 but cheaper by a bit with more varieties. We went to the one in Mongkok, Central, Tsim Sha Shui. Actually all H&M outlets sell the same thing. But because I couldn't get the sizes that I want from Central, I went to all the outlets that I can find to thorougly find the items and the worse part is that the shop is DAMN HUGE!

Had dinner at this hk cafe at Central. The bun is superb! I think it's called butter bun as polo bun was out of stock. My black pepper steak spaghetti cost less than S$10 I think!

Desserts again at Mongkok. I heard this dessert house is famous in hk. We ordered a lot. Even the sesame paste has tang yuan in it. Their durian ice and pancake are nice too!

Never doubt the looks of the porridge. It's a famous stall just right above the market in Mongkok. Their fish can just melt in your mouth. Porridge is even smoother than the one at Crystal jade. Not forgetting the you tiao, it's very very crispy!

We decide to head to Macau on the 2nd last day as we were almost done with shopping.
Took a ferry down and it was so shaky that I actually had motion sickness on the way there as I was already having headache earlier. Coming back was so much better.

Okay I dunno what's this place called but I think it's something you shouldn't miss when you're in Macau.

We found one egg tart stall which also sells pork burger. However, the egg tart is not as nice as I expect it to be, it tasted normal to me. I guess that's not the famous stall. Bubble tea just so-so only but the queue was long.

I'm forever in my cardigan! This is due to the weather in hk as it was raining on the first few days, it was really cold. When it's hot, I will still wear it to prevent myself from getting sun burnt. So stubborn right? haha

We went to this new casino. It was so grand, unlike Sg. Won some moo-lah. Happy girl :D

On the last day, we woke up so much earlier and went to Yau Ma Tei for dimsum. The place can only accommodate 20 people. It opens at 10am everyday, we reached at 9.45 with a long queue and waited for almost 2 hours before our turn. Really that famous? Food was okay! Maybe I don't have much appetite for breakfast! But it's really cheap!

If you need good places to shop in hk, you can try Argyle centre at Mongkok. Their things are quite cheap and it's like bugis st. H&M is a MUST to visit. There's also a lot of shoes shop beside ladies street selling it at affordable price.

I wanted the classic colours like brown or olive or navy but it's OFS. The classics are GOD DAMN CHEAP. Like about $10+ ?? My brother managed to grab it. So UNFAIR! I saw similar ones at Taka's pedder red and it's selling at $99, the gold one is selling at $110. FAINTS! I guess Cine's Rockstar shop is selling at that kind of price too. HOW HOW HOW?! I know gold is hard to match BUT, it just looks so awesome here!

This HUGE prawn is caught by me! HAH FAT HOPE! There's this nice owner who gave us one huge prawn as amelia and fiona complaint that there's no prawns.

They washed and marinate and bbq the prawns where I just stood there watching and taking photos. Such a lazy ass, I know!

And I still can't believe that I actually caught nothing for the whole 3 hrs. Back in pasir ris farm way I caught more than 10! Boohoooo ): Prawning is never my cup of tea.

Ivy's 21st was celebrated on 15th May, one day after Jocelyn's. Her actual birthday is held on 10th of May but however, due to our clash of exam schedule, she postponed her celebration.
It was held at Tanah Merah NSF.

The theme was hello kitty! HAHA Nah the theme was bright colours! But Ivy's a huge fan of kitty!

I'm so so sorry for the lack of updates! But before I start blogging, would like to wish everyone a happy new year! Its better late than nothing! Friends have been asking to update more often. Amelia must be reading this! haha.

2010 have not been a really good year. First half of the year was definitely much better. Shall not let all these fall back again. It's 2011, its gonna be a blast for sure! I'm forever 21!

New year resolutions are not really important to me though I have a few! Let me name them:

1) Do well for exam and no more panic

2) Become more health conscious

3) Be good to daddy&mummy

4) Start to exercise!

5) Earn more money when necessary

6) Be more decisive

7) Be good to people who're worth to be treated well

8) Eat regular meals (TRYING TO! Normally I'll only do that when I'm overseas! hahaha)

9) More overseas trip

Japan Trip (Disneyland)

Did I mention that I went to Japan on 29th Nov - 6th Dec?

These are the long overdue pictures!

Took SQ flight late at night.

Food served for economic class. I chose beef cubes with Spag over some chicken teriyaki with cold soba. Plain bun+butter are always my fav!

Flight takes about 6-7 hrs, finally reached Toyko. It was only 6am in Japan (5am in Sg)

The airport is damn small that we had nothing to do for an hour plus while waiting for our tour to start.

First destination: Disneyland

We can choose between Disneyland or Disneysea (has to pay SGD16 for the train). Since everyone agrees on land, we headed to Disneyland.

Look at the queue! Its only Tuesday morning!

It was only about 8.15 when we reached there. It opens at 9am!

I love Japanese kids. They are damn cute and naughty!

Look at the crowd! Almost everyone were running for the rides!

These helium balloons reminds me of my 21st Birthday where my friends got me pretty pink ones.

I wasn't fully awake! It has always been my sleeping time in Singapore!

Yes, its the space mountain. A roller coaster in the dark that makes you super giddy and feels like throwing out after the ride! I think its the most challenging rides in Disneyland.

Got myself a minnie mouse hairband as most of the girls were wearing one. Join in the mood!

Its the nicest I could find though its quite girly. HAHA!

We have 8hrs to spend in Disneyland. So we decided to catch the disney show at certain timing. Both of us were totally worn out at about 2pm. We just grabbed whatever we see at those food vendors and keep eating away.

My brother and I totally knocked out at about 3pm and we randomly find some attraction to sleep in! I barely had about an hour of sleep in the plane! Dinner was at some chinese restaurants. The food wasn't great so didn't take pictures. The hotel on the first day wasn't any better.

Worked for Pentax/Sanyo booth with Karen. It was so crowded over the weekends.

Celebrate Jasmine's 21st at Bras Brasah on 5th nov. Its was a simple and sweet dinner. We had zi char and I love their fried butter squid. Its so damn nice!! I looked so tired as my eyes were almost closing. Some of us headed to play L4D after.

I'll be going on a trip to Japan on Monday for a week. Hope its not too cold for me! Can't wait to shop around and buy many nice nice things!

Met Amelia and Angel somewhere last week.
Angel & I met in Chinatown earlier for Dimsum at Yumcha.
Amelia came when we were about to finish our dinner.

And don't be surprise! Its not just the normal candy shop like candy empire! They have all sorts of Jelly beans, lollipops and a lot of cute candies! We were so confused and don't know what to get. Thus, decided to leave without getting anything!

This girl just have to put plane so last minute for SOME reason. HAHAHA. So Amelia and I asked her to leaveeeee and she gave this innocent+poor thing face which I don't think I'll ever feel guilty and forgive her! LOL

Universal Studio! I'm at Universal Studio! NO LAH! Its outside. I haven't been to Singapore's one before. Have been wanting to go there but the tickets are so expensive and the main rides still under maintenance. ):

Amelia and I were feeling so thirsty and thank god we found Coffee bean nearby! So we settled down with a drink and strawberry cheesecake! So nice! Had heart to heart talks. I bet Angel must be very jealous if she sees this. We trained back after that! Yes, I TRAINED back and met Ivan at Tampines Mrt to pass him something stuff.

After months and months of talking about the Xiao Long Bao Steamboat, I've finally manage to try it!
Crystal Jade xlb steamboat is only located at Holland V. Its always fulled packed. You die die have to make appointment before you go down. At least 2 days in advance booking if you decide to go on a Weekday, to play safe!

Just look at the crowd and queue! There's different timing for different slots. Different price too. You even have to wait to get in!

The earlier you go, the more expensive it is!

And the best thing is, the xiao long bao is free flow one! Supa nice when its hot! Can be compared to ding tai feng!

Look at the number of food we ordered! That's not all! And we didn't know the portion is so big! That time we went to Bugis for steamboat at Xian De Lai, the portion was much smaller than these!

Last last week, I met my friends for dinner at Xin Wang Marina.
Tried something new even though I've never liked this cafe.

They have new dishes! And its their Signature dishes.

Crystal Jade Xiao Long Bao Steamboat is always fullhouse. You even have to book at least 2 days in advance to confirm yourself a space. So we walked down Orchard to see what's there to eat. At first we headed to this Jap restaurant called Tamaya (something like that) near Cuppage. But when we sat down and saw the menu, the waygu beef was like 60 plus or 100 plus per person. When we noticed Pasta Fresca were right beside us, we just hop to that restaurant.

Something special about this italian restaurant is that if you order any pasta, you can choose different kinds of noodles they have. They even have pasta stuffed with Mushroom, Chicken, Spinach, Potatos.

Dinner at Tampopo

Met Angel quite some time back for shopping. Actually not, she just want to get her reserved formal shirts!

We headed to bugis for Koi first! And we got ourselves the same pairs of heels from Alice!
Were suppose to go for dinner right after but after Koi, Angel said that her tummy was quite filled.
So we headed went to check out the nice Fish steamboat at bugis but the queue was horrible, went to Town after.

Decided to settle our dinner at Tampopo as Angel wanted to have some desserts.

After looking at the menu, she can't resist and ordered a bowl of cold ramen!

Got myself this Black pig ramen which is very different from others!

Their meat is very lean and it tasted just like beef.

I always ordered this when I'm dining there.

Bestie Fangeng & I planned for a birthday dinner for Steffi at District 10, located near Newton Circus!
Initially we wanted to go to some restaurant at Tanglin Mall but I think it has closed down, so decided on this place!

Its a bar too, that serves many wines!

Healthy us ordered ice water instead!

We ordered buffalo wings as the appetitizer and its really awesome!!

One of the best buffalo wings I've ever tried!

It comes in more sauces too!

The soup taste different from other normal mushroom soup. It has cheese in it and its thick and just nice!

Its a must-try!

Ham & Mushroom pasta in spicy tomato sauce.

Awesome pick as well!

Parma ham pizza which I recommend. I've never failed to order this everytime I visit this place!

We had a wonderful and heartwarming dinner together! Talking and laughing like crazy people. Too bad we didn't order the wines because we're going back home after dinner and Steffi's face cannot be too red!

Their sparking wine and rosy champagne is very sweet and nice. Its called Mosscato! Do remember to try it if you're making a trip down yea! (:
